They fixed that first one I tried to ride a few weeks ago, and after this experience, I wish it was still broken.
This is almost identical to the smaller one I uploaded, but it’s wider, with center-open doors. The ride was terrible, as the elevator vibrated and semi-violently shook most of the way, especially down to 1.
This one is a bonifide DEATH TRAP. If you use this garage, don’t use the center-open elevator in the Red Section (unless you’re feeling lucky!!)!

Taking a ride on an old elevator in the parking garage of the former Galleria Mall. After the mall failed, it became the Wrocester Common (Fashion) Outlets Mall, which initially did very well, then failed several years ago. The mall, for the most part, has been vacant since, but the garage in still in use.
We ride Montgomery elevator, which started itself in the park position, then went as planned. The ride was smooth, but there was a lot of noise during travels. At least it ran well, and you can see your travel through the fan. It’s also noted the “1″ was burned out.
Is it a death trap? you be the judge.

In case you were interested, I wanted to share with you the ways in which I find deals in this economy:

1) Walk on outside perimeter of store. If you walk on the outside aisles, you many times will find discounted items.

2) Search for coupons online. Type in the item or company you are trying to buy and the word coupon into your favorite search engine and away you go. Search for printable coupons for in store use. http://www.dealigg.com/ and http://www.retailmenot.com/ are great sites for this

3) Find rebates and use sites like ebates. For more info on this option, please check out my video on ebates http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXt-DhmRS5w

4) Clip coupons the old fashioned way!

5) Buy an Entertainment Book or sign up for local coupons through a company like Valpak.

6) Finally, check out TJ MAXX, Marshalls and Nordstrom Rack (or other discount stores) for current CHEAP items! Also check out OUTLET stores and outlet malls.

P.S. Never buy a Coach bag from a department store, theyre just as good and half as expensive at the authentic outlet stores ?
