Q About Christmas &/or Holiday Greeting Cards?
This year I am really touched by those who’ve taken the time to mail me Christmas &/or Holiday cards (I have differing religious family observances). Cards are not as inexpensive as they used to be and it takes time to select, and write in them. I feel very loved when I receive them. And while it does take me time and effort to do the same, I get alot of joy from sending cards as well. My card list is way shorter now than it used to be. But I love this way of saying I Love You.

What do you all think when you get a card? Please stay kind in your answers, if you can. Thanks.

Just wondering - do you feel the same?
Thx Ozcar, Solomon, Jon, and Hannah, yes we agree on this one. You all had wonderful personal sharings here.

Dear Ambassador - If we didn’t know the true meaning of Christmas, you have printed it out for us. Cards are a way of extending LOVE which is to me what JC is ALL about. So thanks for your sharing, but it makes me wonder if anyone ever sent you a loving blessing in card form in honor of the One Whose Birth we celebrate annually? If not, then so be it, this is your first official Card of the Christmas season. Peace to you and abundant blessings in the New Year. Enjoy your 2 pts.

Everyone else, enjoy your thumbs up :)

I give no thumbs down on this Q.

    The real meaning of Christmas:
We read in God’s Holy Law-Book the Bible in Isaiah 42:5-9 Thus saith God JAHWEH, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I JAHWEH have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am JAHWEH: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

I do like getting cards. I usually send out about 35, which I love, and usually get back about 20 or so, and every one is a rush to get and open.

I have Christmas card lists that go back to 1992, and it’s cool to see how it changed since then, with old friends passing out of my life and new friends passing in.

The holidays are a wonderful time of year..And your right,as time passes, our card list grow shorter, as does the times of our lives.. A card is a pleasant way to remember a friend or family member, and just for a moment on both sides, we pause for a moment, and we remember days and times when that person, was in our lives.. Memories are for ever, its just as time goes on, people move on in different directions, or go out of our lives.. I will all the days of my life ,remember family, and friends with the Holiday sending of Cards.. I wrote many years ago,,"When I am gone from the face of this Earth, if the mention of my Name, brings a smile to your face,I will have lived righteously!" Wishing YOU the happiest of the Holiday Season, and my best wishes for a healthy happy New Year!!!! SOLOMON

I LOVE sending and getting personalized cards. It makes me feel great, especially this time of year!

If you run out of stamps or don’t have time to send some last minute cards, you can make cards online with YOUR photos!
Look at the one I created for my grandparents this year (the two pics in the card are my sister and I) :

I do not have everyone,s mail address so let me just do it this way.

I hope and pray that everyone who reads this will have a great time during the holidays. That you will be safe, that you will be healthy, That you will be with those you love and who love you. Just try to remember during all the eating and present opening what Christmas is really all about.

When I think of the gifts, I try to remember that the greatest gift ever given happened over 2000 yrs ago when God gave his only begotten Son. John 3:16

When I think of all the wonderful food that will be eaten over the holidays I try to remember that Jesus told the disciples
in the upper room. As often as you do this do it in remembrance of me.

When i think of the beautiful trees all decorated with their ornaments, I try to remember that Jesus hung on a tree made into a cross for me that I might have life and have it more abundantly.

When I think of all the families gathered at this time of the year,I try to remember that I am now part of the Family of God.And that one day soon all this will be over with and I will be Home for Christmas for ever and ever.

I hope and pray that everyone has a Merry Christmas,

I always feel touched when I get one.
This year I decided to get religious ones to give away, and will do so for now on.
