Dallas Shopping Attractions
Dallas is a city with lots to do for tourists. One of its biggest attractions remains the fantastic shopping that is available in the area. If you are new to the area or just visiting you might be interested in learning about all of the shopping venues in Dallas. Keep reading and learn about the shopping centers in Dallas.
One of the best shopping centers is the Allen Premium Outlets located in Allen, Texas off of Interstate 75. It has a number of discount outlets including Polo, Adidas, Gap, Guess, Nautica, Hilfiger and Reebok just to name a few. No shopper can consider their trip to Dallas complete without a trip to the outlet mall.
Another great shopping venue in the Metroplex is Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, TX. It is one of the newest and most popular malls in the area and always seems to be packed. It is worth braving the crowds though. With stores like Nordstrom’s, Macy’s, Coach and Pottery Barn it has it all. In addition to the shopping at this mall there are also many great restaurants and entertainment spots like The Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen and Dave & Buster’s.
Are you looking for a high end shopping experience? If you are then The Shops At Willow Bend are for you. Here you will find such places as Toni & Guy, J Crew, Lacoste, Neiman Marcus, Coach, Montblanc and more. It is also a beautiful mall that is expertly and tastefully appointed. You are sure to love it.
Dallas is home to a number of other great and exciting shopping venues. To name them all however would take a book instead of an article. This article has given you three of the best however and I hope you have found it informative.

Six Flags has an awesome theme park there. With so much to do, you could go there for a few days and still not have been on every ride. Kids love it too.

Downtown, at Union Station, there’s a revolving restaurant/observation deck called Reunion Tower. The restaurant is pricey, and service on the bar level isn’t so good, but the observation deck is cheap and fun. On a clear day, you can see Dallas landmarks like the Farmers Market and Love Field airport. The elevator ride is pretty cool, too — you can see outside as you rise.
I think the bar level is kid friendly, and it’s fun to sit and watch Dallas pass by you in an hour, but the service can be iffy.
At Union Station, you can catch a DART train that will take you north to West End marketplace, where there are plenty of restaurants. The Sixth Floor Museum isn’t far from the West End. The museum is dedicated to JFK’s life and death. (OK, don’t file that under fun. It’s more educational.)
Farther north, the train stops at Mockingbird Station, where there are more restaurants and an indie-type movie theater. Once you’re at Mockingbird Station, you’re no longer downtown, but you’re right at a train stop that’ll take you back.
Have fun!

Dallas has more shopping per capita than any other city in the United States. So shopping is a must. There are tons of malls, stores, and boutiques in Dallas. The malls that I recommend to you are (in order of best to 4th Best): The Galleria (Dallas), Stonebriar Centre (Frisco), Northpark Mall (Dallas), and Grapevine Mills Mall (Grapevine). I also recommend all of the stage theaters and art galleries/museums. As far as historical sites, you must see the 6th Floor Museum, the Conspiracy Museum, and The Dallas Holocaust Museum. I might also suggest that you check out the Mustangs of Las Colinas and the Las Colinas Movie Studio (very interesting). The churches are absolutely beautiful in Dallas. I recommend that you buy this book: Dallas & Fort Worth: A Pictorial Celebration (ISBN: 9781402725616). You could also get an interlibrary loan on it if you didn’t want to buy it. You can do that at your local library. Hope this Helps! God Bless!*

The great wolf lodge was just built in Grapevine….it has a huge indoor water park….attached to the hotel….it should be fun….
Of course, there is Six Flags for kids….the Dallas Arboretum is also beautiful this time of year with the daffodils and tulips blooming…they always have kid activities planned….and kid areas……
For yourself and hubby, look to Addison, TX….tons of restaurants, night clubs, shopping, etc….you could stay at the galleria near Addison, have an ice skating rink for the kids….magic time machine for the kids….then drop them at a sitter, and have a nice glass of wine at Mercy Wine Bar….or check out Addison, Improv…..
Have fun.
