Is it okay to give a matching gift, one at the bridal shower and the other at the wedding?
I bought a nice engraved frame for a friend’s wedding. While I was picking up the frame, I noticed that I could purchase a matching photo album. I purchased the album thinking I could give it as a gift at the bridal shower. Although the frame and the album did not come together as a matching set and I purchased them separately, I am now wondering if it is tacky to give them a two different occasions or if they should be given together at the wedding. Thus, purchase another gift for the bridal shower.

that’s a really cool idea! i’ve never thought of that, it would be nice. I would actually like that, but some ppl today might think you bought one package and just split it in half because you didn’t wanna get another. If you’re friend isnt like those kinna ppl, then go for it! its the thought that counts :]

It’s okay to give them at two different occasions. I would think it is cool if when I opened the second one I was like, "Oh, this matches the other one!"
