I am hosting a program for young girls and the theme is very feminine. I am trying to think of cute and cost efficient gifts that could be added to their gift bags. All suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
I agree with one of the responders here that you should separate the goodie bags by age groups. There are ways to get donations such as have a dentist give you toothbrushes and toothpaste samples. Call a teen mag and see if they will give you either a sample or coupons for their mag. Go to a dollar store and get a bunch of inexpensive fun stuff such as stickers, lip gloss, fun straws, glittery things, school items, etc… The fact that you are giving away a goody bag is great in and of itself. They will have fun with whatever is inside. Have a piece of candy inside but try not to go overboard with candy - this is not a good way to set an example. Plus it goes into eating disorders and weight issues. You might choose healthy snacks such as the small oranges or other fruits vs. candy.
