What are some thoughtful gifts for a teacher for the holidays?
Looking for a holiday gift teacher but didn’t want to get the typical teacher gifts. Any ideas?
This mite be alittle much but if you guys got pictures of the class or something u can make a little like wallet photo book for her that would be pretty cool. I made a photo book on http://www.smilebooks.com for my mother already for christmas as one of her gifts at it was not that expensive and i designed it however i wanted to.
How do you decide how much money to spend on gifts?
Do you just try to find the right gift and pay whatever it costs?
Do you create a limited gift budget and limit the gifts according to the gift budget?
For a really important gift - example: a very good friend getting married on 2 Jan. - is it okay to overdo it?
Gift is given by Heart, and also by the person who given it… Money is not counted on that matter.. U fix the budget according to your convenience and get the best gift within that .. am sure he/she will love it !!
Hi! Im from Philippines, where can i buy new adaptor for Wii, i accidentally plug my 110 volts adaptor in 220?
my Wii is from california, my uncle gave it to me as a gift,it has an input power of 110 volts, but i accidentally plug it in a 220 volts outlet..and im trying to fing a new adaptor now…
I don’t think the adapter is the thing you have to worry about. I think your Wii might be fried.
www.nintendo. com should have the adapter that you need. Also try your local electronic store that sells a Wii and maybe it will have it.
What are some fun, creative, useful, and relatively easy ideas for knitting gifts?
At first I wanted to knit my close friends scarves for Christmas, but then I thought, "Hey, why make them something ordinary that can only be used pretty much once during the year?!" Any ideas for fun, creative, and/or useful knitting projects that I can give as gifts?
Any good links would be appreciated as well!
Thank you!
Check out knitty.com …. they have a "whimsies" section with nontraditional patterns that are fun and different…… I once knit a stuffed womb for my sister to congratulate her for becoming an OB nurse–got the pattern from knitty — bizarre, pointless, yet creative and fun
If "whimsies" is a bit too whimsical, you could literally spend hours surfing all their other patterns, its THE best website.
Also, I recently got referred to ravelry.com, which is a community for knitters and crocheters to share projects. The only downside is that you have to wait a week to receive an "invite," but it appears to be well worth it. Good luck!
Keeping banana bread frozen to give as gifts over the holidays?
I plan on making and freezing banaba bread to give as gifts over the holidays. The problem is we will be traveling 5+ hours. How can I travel and ensure these stay frozen to give as gifts? And how can I be creative so they can be cute gifts? Help!
Where can I buy dry ice?
Get one of the cheap styrofoam coolers and use dry ice to keep the banana bread frozen.
the old standby - use different colored ribbons to wrap around the bread’s freezer wrapping, and make different colored bows.
